AI Crop for One-Up Facing Pages
This feature request for AI Crop focuses on automating the cropping process for materials with two facing pages, where only one page is captured straight-on, while the other is angled (known as "one-up" facing pages). It’s particularly useful when digitizing bound materials that can't be fully opened, folded items like newspapers, or loose sheets imaged side-by-side. The AI would intelligently identify and crop the "imaged page" while excluding or minimizing the presence of the angled "non-imaged page."
This would greatly enhance efficiency by reducing manual adjustments and ensuring accurate cropping for a wide range of material types. Whether working with partially opened books, folded documents, or archival sheets, this feature streamlines the workflow by focusing on the primary page while still acknowledging the context provided by the adjacent page.
