Film Negative Inversion

This feature would provide for the inversion of a color negative to a historically accurate positive image. This requires significant research effort, collaboration from Kodak and other makers of historic film processes, and a smartly implemented feature in Nexus. The results would allow for both Scene Referred (restoring the color to the real-world appearance of the scene) and Print Referred (simulating the printed color on contemporary material). DT believes we finally have the correct network of contacts to make this happen, if the community thinks it would be of value.
