White/Gray Flat Fielding Adjustment
Add an option to choose between "white" or "gray" flat field surfaces during image capture. Selecting "white" will underexpose the flat fielding capture by 1 stop.

Doesn’t the reflection of a given background (base plate) - be it white, grey or black) - but also of the different originals to be photographed make a big difference for exposure but also for color accuracy?
@Stefan Fiedler, Stefan, it's an interesting topic. Yes, background (or rather, total brightness) does have a minor impact. However, that should be accounted for by the scene as profiled and validated – which Nexus is great for since you can reprofile/revalidate quickly without leaving the capture workflow – rather than at the even fielding (LCC) stage. Glad to discuss more offline if you'd like.
